Appointments & Reservations

We see patients by appointment to decrease wait times and better serve our customers. Please be respectful and show up for an appointment you book so that we don’t turn others away. If you need to cancel and appointment, call us as soon as possible. Surgeries will still be scheduled by reservation and deposits are strongly recommended. If we find that people are abusing the appointment system, we will start requiring deposits for those services as well.

Please do not email after 3PM the day before you want an appointment. You cannot schedule by leaving voice mails, messages on Facebook or text.

For all ear crops, a deposit of $150 is required for booking an appointment and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Appointment Guidelines

We recommend an appointment for all services. If you do not have an appointment, you may have to wait extended periods of time. It is NOT required to make a reservation for vaccinations, this is a walk-up service only between 9:00AM TO 11:00AM and 1:00PM-3:00PM.

Reservations are not required, but HIGHLY recommended to secure a spot on surgery days. Walk-ups are only accepted if there is room and the patient arrives by check-in time. A deposit will be required.

Making Reservations Online

To secure a reservation spot for surgeries and/or make a deposit, please utilize our PREPAY SERVICES feature. Each pet reserved will require a $75 deposit. This deposit is nonrefundable unless we cancel the surgery for some reason. If you do not show up, you will be charged $75. This deposit will be applied to the total due on surgery days. Reservations must be made no later than 5 p.m. the day before the desired reservation date (excluding Fridays and Saturdays). If you make a reservation after 5pm the day before surgery, your reservation is not guaranteed.

When reserving for a dental or ear crop, please be sure and list the weight of your pet. It is very important that we know this in advance.

BRING YOUR PAPERWORK FROM YOUR RESERVATION! THIS WILL CUT DOWN ON CONFUSION AT CHECK IN.

CANCELLATIONS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY. It may take up to 2 weeks to process and issue a refund. Refunds are by check and only issued to the owner of the card used to make the reservation.

NO CANCELLATIONS WILL BE DONE OVER THE PHONE. In the rare circumstance you have a legitimate emergency, email us at info@mybudgetvet.com at least 48-hours in advance. No calls will accepted to cancel or reschedule.

THERE IS A $10 FEE FOR CANCELLATIONS, NO EXCEPTIONS. For this reason, we suggest you do not make reservations frivolously. We have to schedule all of our clinics based on the time we spend on the projected number of surgeries. Frivolously making reservations then cancelling them complicates the schedule and may result in us turning away others who would like to use our services. There was a lot of abuse of our previous cancellation policy, which is why this is now our policy.

THERE WILL BE NO DISCUSSION ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THIS POLICY IS FAIR.

Required Appointment & Surgery Deposit

Starting on October 14th, 2019, we will now be requiring a $75 deposit for all appointments and surgeries. This is due to many “no-show” appointments. We do not want to needlessly turn other clients away when our scheduled appointments are not showing up. If you do not leave a deposit, does not mean we will not see you and your pet, but it does mean you may have to wait to be seen and some waits are prolonged. This deposit is non-refundable if not canceled IN WRITING via email a minimum of 24 hours in advance, 48 hours if over the weekend. Cancellations will NOT be taken over the phone. Cancellation will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee by check if the above conditions are met.
